Covid-19 Procedure When a Frost Delay
On the morning of a potential frost delay, the pro shop and greens staff will liaise to determine if there is a delay.
If there is no delay, there will be no postings or emails.
If there is a delay, notice will be posted to Twitter and to the Club website under Member Central>Course Alerts, on the Clubhouseonline App under
Course Alerts, as well as an email sent to players on the tee sheet.
At 9:00 AM, an update will be posted to Twitter and to the Club website as well as emailed to the day’s players advising of either a 10:30 AM (or earlier) delayed first tee start, or a continuation of the delay.
At 10:00 AM an update will be posted to Twitter and to the Club website, as well as emailed to the day’s players advising of either a 12:00 Noon, 1st and 10th tee, nine holes only start, or of a course closure for the day.
There will be four options for a frost delay:
- NO DELAY – Tee times will run as scheduled.
- 10:30 AM (or earlier) Start – Tee times will run from the first tee on a delayed basis, in order of the tee time draw.
- 12:00 Noon 1st and 10th tee start – NINE HOLES ONLY – In the event the delay goes past 10:30 AM, the day’s tee sheet will be erased. Members may phone the pro shop to book a tee time for nine holes only starting from either the 1st or 10th tee at 12:00 Noon.
- Course Closure - Should the delay go beyond 12:00 Noon, the course will be closed for the day.
Due to Covid-19, we will not be conducting shotgun starts, nor will we facilitate having large numbers of members arriving on the property at the same time. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate through these unprecedented times.
